Some Inspiration!

Day 4
So far, So good.
I'm sticking to the diet and its driving me crazy! My mom just bought chocolate chip mint ice cream with chunks of brownies, can I kill her? Would it be considered justifiable homicide? I think so.

I start everyday out with scrambled eggs. Why? Because its easy to make. I usually don't eat lunch but I munch on veggies with hummus. For dinner I had chili. Instead of using tomato sauce I used dice tomatoes. I'm also drinking a lot of water and I've noticed that my craving for soda is going away. Slowly, but its still happening.

I love to bake. Its my passion. Later this week I plan to redirect my passion towards cooking. Hopefully, I can make some yummy meals that will allow me to ignore the Chocolate chip mint ice cream with brownies in the freezer!

South Beach Diet: Phase 1: Day 1

Day One
Phase one: I can't have pasta, bread, rice, or fruits. What the hell can I eat?
I can have veggies, lean meats, dairy, fish, and nuts.
As far as first day dieting goes, I am very proud of myself. I did not cheat at all. However, I wanted to. Several times. But I didn't! I can honestly say that I miss complex carbs.

Breakfast/Lunch I woke up at 12:30
I ate eggs with turkey and mushrooms. I had plain yogurt that I didn't eat. Why? Have you ever had plain yogurt? Stuff is gross!

Dinner

Cucumbers, carrots, cherry toms, and hummus.

Since I had a very late breakfast, I just basically snacked on almonds. I also drank a ton of water.

Dark days!

The other day I was diagnosed as being pre diabetic. Not fun. It was a wake up call. So I decided to start this blog as a way to hold myself accountable to food and to my health.

Today, I had my last dinner so to speak. I had a WAWA Italian sub, soda, and some ice cream. Tomorrow, I will be starting the South Beach Diet. As of today, I weight 1XX. (haha, I'm not telling you how much I weight).
